Vico Magistretti, Italian designer and architect said that "simplicity is the most difficult thing in the world'. These words reflect my feelings, that simplicity is the essence of design though complex to achieve, requiring research, choice and good design.
My name is Serena and I am an Italian designer. In high school in Rimini, in addition to the traditional subjects, painting, sculpture and architecture, I had the good fortune to be introduced to design and graphics. Inspired by those aspects of art I attended the Industrial Design University (IUAV) for three years and I had the opportunity to explore in depth the world of design. I studied both graphic and product design. My teachers emphasized that “there is no product design without the graphics and vice versa".
I love living in London, the centre of art ,design and culture. I visit museums, galleries, and as many exhibitions of art, design and photography as possible. I have ventured into a world new, exciting and enriching.
In December 2017 I completed my MA in Graphic Branding and Identity at UAL, University of Arts of London.
My love of design is rooted in its own particular nature as a process, its union of thinking and creating.
